Gadget of the year again! We’ll take it…

It’s a big week here at Peek.  Besides my collegue Dave Hung winning the Peek bake off, even against my oatmeal cookies, Amol’s chocolate chip cookies and Diana’s wicked salty sweet pretzel chocolate bar thing we managed to make gadget of the year again.  Sorry Time Inc - you are not the only kid on the block anymore.

Check out the NBC Bay Area morning show where we were given the coveted prize of Gadget of the Year. We like grandmas with GMail accounts!

USA Today gave us props in this article “New products that made tech fans celebrate in 2008.“ As you know, we did not make Peek for tech fans, but even techies know the power of simple.

Here is Edward Baigs words of wisdom:

“One other refreshingly simple gadget is worth mentioning: the Peek. It looks like a BlackBerry but is not a phone. It’s all about consumer e-mail. Cost is $100, plus a $20-a-month fee, with no required contract.”

Ed understands Peek and what we are all about.

Here’s the last one, Ad Age named us in their Top Tech Toys at #7.  We are enamored with being compared to the Kindle, Wii Fit and a really cool tooth brush! Thanks Ad age.
