Post Mortem – Peek NYC Upgrade Party Extravaganza
What an extravaganza we had at our first Peek NYC party. Peeksters mingled with us and shared their Peek stories over food, drink with a little Peek Pronto upgrade in the mix too. The turnout was phenomenal and we had such a good time that we can’t wait to do it again.
Lot’s of “wows” after Peeksters were upgraded to the new version of Peek Pronto with all the big improvements. We even had a few non-peeksters stop by who just heard about the event to see what Peek is all about. One of my favorite “converted Peeksters” was Matt who came by our office today and bought a Peek right from HQ. That’s right – Peek HQ is a brick and mortar retailer now too.
Thanks again to everyone for making the Peek party a smashing success. It was great for Peek to meet it’s customers face-to-face.

Earth Day
Happy Earth Day everyone. Today is a great day to reflect on our natural environment, the challenges it’s facing and, hopefully, do something extra for our planet. Some people say that Earth Day is unnecessary — that we should be taking action everyday. This is true, but it’s also helpful to have a designated day to really focus people’s attention on this issue. We’d love to know your thoughts on Earth Day and what you’re planning to do.
One thing that we’re doing is giving the Sierra Club a free Peek for every device we sell here today on GetPeek.com. The Sierra Club has a bunch of people constantly running around the country doing some really important environmental work. We want to help them stay connected when they’re out doing good stuff for our planet.
We’re also going to give a cool little water bottle to everyone who buys a Peek today. We all know what an environmental nightmare plastic bottles are – carrying one of these steel water bottles is a good alternative.

Celebrating Peek Pronto
Following months of work from everyone here at Peek, many of you know we launched Peek Pronto a couple of weeks ago. We’ve heard from critics and Peeksters abound and they all have one thing in common – they love Peek. So we rewarded ourselves last week with a little romp around New York City.
Our very own Kristin and Derek planned an amazing day as we were divided into teams and sent traipsing around the city.
We went to Target and Radio Shack stores.
We took pictures in front of famous New York monuments.
We debated about the oldest “statue” in Manhattan.
We even found a famous person to endorse Peek Pronto.
At the end of the day, we took a boat cruise around Manhattan (don’t worry, we brought our swim trunks and flippie floppies). Stunning skylines, a gorgeous sunset, the Statue of Liberty and great company. Pretty nice day if you ask me!
Peekster Pandemonium update
Congrats to the UNC Tarheels – they cut down the nets last night in Detroit and stand atop the men’s college basketball world today.
This also brings Peekster Pandemonium to a close. Leslie D. took home the crown with an impressive 51 of 63 picks correct. 19 other Peeksters in our little pool also managed to beat our Chief Peekster Amol’s picks. Things were looking bleak for a moment there as Amol was near the bottom of the pack but he correctly picked UNC as the champion which vaulted him up the rankings. And finally, a few dozen of you emailed us with the correct pick of UNC as the champion.
