Peek Speaks
Peek is simply connected. This blog is simply Peek.

1st Peekiversary

peekiversary_stickerWhat an incredible year it’s been! Peek officially turns 1-year old this week, and so it seems fitting to celebrate our first ever Peekiversary.

Over the past year, we’ve heard from Peeksters far and wide about how our tiny marvel has improved their lives. Their stories inspire us every day to make Peek the best gadget it can possibly be.

For instance, Peekster Matt, who used his Peek to blog throughout a 2663 mile long hike along the Pacific Crest Trail this summer. Congrats, Matt! Local NYC charter school East Bronx Academy dramatically boosted grades & attendance by giving Peeks to parents & teachers to communicate better. And, new mom Kris, who carries her Peek at all times so she never misses an email from husband John currently stationed in Iraq.

As a fun 1-Year Peekiversary present for our Peeksters, we unveiled PeekSocial for Facebook.

Once signed up (it’s totally free for all Peeksters), you’ll be able to receive updates from Facebook directly on your Peek! It’s a great way to keep track of friends’ statuses and posts to your feed. Plus, if you have a Peek Pronto, you’ll be able to set your Facebook status simply by pressing Shift + “S” key on your Peek (note: this only works once you’ve signed up). Watch PeekSocial video demo here.

PeekSocial is just one in a growing family of Peek Apps designed to take peeking to the next level. Check out the rest of the Peek Apps website and discover other cool apps like:

PeekFeed – Emails you the latest posts from your favorite blog, Twitter or the New York Times
PeekMaps – Shows your Peek’s location on Google Maps

  3. And just WHERE does peekmaps show my location? Do I access the map from my peek, and if so, how? And then, does it e-mail me a map? Isn’t this tautalogical – I have to enter my location in order to get my location? I would like having a map, though …..
