  3. ive used text devices since the start of them back with wynd and the rim 950 came out, then the original sidekicks up til now i have the sidekick 2 yrs ago i had bout the lx for my mom, im the only deaf person in my area, im late deafened so im very oral and english oriented. i do sign and read lips, but perfer to speak and use english. tmobile has been terrible in trying to get help with the sidekick situation. i have had the insurance ad during the outage, my sidekick has been acting up. i was told at the tmobile office to call their customer care to make a claim yeah right im deaf what part didnt they get? i asked them to call for me and start the claim. i told them to forget it when they wanted to charge me 130.00 for the claim for an old refurb one that the service still wasnt working right. they wont allow u to upgrade nor use the credits towards the insurance claim .. they have just lost me as a customer! ive had the data plan for yrs now at 29.99 a month…….and ive given them several customers who are hearing with just the data only plans. im pretty upset over the treatment they have given us. so now im looking for something else to use. i see your special for the free peek was only thru oct 16th. i use email, text, instant messenging, camera etc. any suggestions? will this devie work ok with communicating with the others who stil lhave the crappy sidekicks? but are under a contract? and will i be able to pick my own email name?
